Sunday School
Our Sunday School currently has 66 students and 20 teachers. Sunday School begins every Sunday at 9:30 am. After a word of prayer, the opening assembly begins with singing lead by our Praise Team. After the singing session, one of our students reads a lesson from the Book of Proverbs and then concludes with a prayer. We then celebrate students’ birthdays with the singing of Happy Birthday, before breaking off into the individual class sessions. In order to encourage punctuality, students arriving on time are awarded stickers on the attendance sheet.
The Sunday School followed the Gospel Light Curriculum and a standardized curriculum adopted in 2006 during the 2008-2009 academic year. For the 2009-2010 academic year, the Sunday School began using the David C. Cook curriculum along with the standardized curriculum. The 2009-2010 academic year began in September of 2009 and will end in June of 2010.
